Sometimes Lucky by Nudessence Sometimes Lucky by Nudessence
Sometimes you get lucky! This is a small oil jar. 11 cm. x 19 cm. (4.3" x7.5") -B-mix clay, gas-fired. The shino glaze did some marvelous things on this piece. Not the least of which was the totally unexpected “rising sun’’ nicely centered on its side. I'm not aware of anything that I did which would directly cause this. It was just one of those wonderful, mysterious accidents that sometimes take place in the firing chamber! One of my favorite pieces ever.

Don't you love when this occurs? ; )

This piece is very beautiful, and SHOULD be one of your favorites ever. ; ) Very lovely design form, wonderful in that "I'm so functional, don't you want to use me?" sort of way. GREAT work.
